2014 Scholarship Program 11 Scholarships Available

The IAA Foundation endeavors to enhance the future of agriculture by providing college scholarships to Illinois Farm Families, Illinois Farm Bureau members, spouses, or their children who major in agriculture, agribusiness, or an ag-related course of study. The IAA Foundation is pleased to administer scholarships on behalf of agricultural partners and families who each endeavor to support future genera tions and help assure a well-qualified and professional agricultural workforce in Illinois while supporting farming communities.

Please note: all general scholarship applicants will be required to submit an Intent to Apply online form prior to mailing your application. (this excludes Prairie Farms and Illinois Soybean Association)

The application period runs from December 1, 2013 to February 1, 2014. Completed applications must be mailed and postmarked on or before February 1, 2014. Supporting materials may be sent separately but must be postmarked by the deadline.

General Eligibility
Applicants may have been the recipient of a previous IAA Foundation scholarship. All applicants must meet the following general criteria to be considered for an IAA Foundation Scholarship. Please see each scholarship for specific requirements, limitations, and guidelines.

  1. Must be high school graduate or graduate or graduating in 2014.
  2. Must be an Illinois Farm Bureau member, spouse of member, or member’s child (except for Prairie Farms, Illinois Soybean Association, and St. Louis District Dairy Council Scholarships)
  3. Must be accepted for enrollment or be enrolled at an accredited college, university, community college or trade school majoring in agriculture, agribusiness or a closely related field (except for Ratermann, Prairie Farms, and St. Louis District Dairy Council scholarships.
  4. Must exhibit potential for successful completion of course of study.
  5. Must be a resident of Illinois (except for Prairie Farms and St. Louis District Dairy Council Scholarships)
  6. May not be a spouse, child, sibling, grandchild, son-in-law, or daughter-in-law of an IAA Foundation trustee, employee, or current member of the Illinois Farm Bureau Board of Directors.
