The Expert Institute's 2018 annual Healthcare and Life Sciences Scholarship

Contest Overview
Without the technical insights provided by members of the healthcare and life science communities, attorneys would not be able to effectively seek justice for their clients. From prescription drug and medical device torts to intellectual property disputes surrounding proprietary biological research, healthcare and life science professionals have become an essential part of American justice. In recognition of these vital contributions to the practice of law, The Expert Institute is offering a $1000 scholarship to students in medicine and the life sciences.
Official Guidelines
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Must be actively pursuing a degree related to healthcare or the life sciences
A minimum 3.0 GPA
Requirements
Applicants must attach a file containing their essay to the submission form below, with a cover sheet that includes:

Full name
School and program
Expected graduation year / month
Mailing address
Phone and email
Current GPA
Essay
1,000-2,000 words on how you feel your specialized knowledge and training could be applied to improving the practice of law, submitted electronically as a document attached to the form below.

Award
One scholarship totaling $1,000 will be awarded

Article Submission:
All submissions must be received before midnight on December 31, 2018 in order to be considered. Please include all required information in a cover sheet on the submitted document. All awards will be disbursed through the winner’s school.
