ABLE MOVING SCHOLARSHIP AWARD

The Scholarship for 2018 is now closed. The 2018 award recipient will be contacted via e-mail. Students are encourage to apply for next year’s Able Moving Scholarship due April 15th, 2019.

Able Moving and Storage is proud to announce we are offering a $500 scholarship to a college or university student who demonstrates a passion for hard work and a determination to succeed. As a small business we are looking to encourage other entrepreneurs to pursue their own business ideas and passions.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria
In order to be considered for this application, the applicant must…

Be enrolled in an accredited college or university and must be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a business program.
Be in good academic standing and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Application Requirements
All applicants must submit the following application materials. Applications missing any of these materials will NOT be considered.

An essay (maximum 1,000 words) addressing the following topic: “Share an experience with moving, whether it be to the next town, across the country, or internationally. What helped make the move easier? What challenges did you face?”
An up-to-date resume
A current unofficial transcript from applicant’s college/university or high school
