Carport Central Scholarship Program 2018

As a North Carolina-based company in metal buildings industry, we are committed to giving back to the community by providing students with an interest in manufacturing and construction the opportunity to earn scholarship funds to apply towards their education. To be considered, applicants will be required to write an essay from the list of topics indicated below.

How much is the scholarship?
Three awards worth $1,000, $500, and $250 will be awarded under the Carport Central Scholarship every year. The scholarship will be sent directly to the school/university/college’s financial aid office.

Who is eligible?
Any current, full-time, part-time student of an accredited or non-accredited institute, building contractor program, must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 to become eligible. There is no requirement of the minimum age.

Things to Consider Before You Submit Your Essay
Currently Accepting Submissions For 2019
Your essay should be relevant to the topic you have chosen.
Bold the topic you have chosen in your document.
Essays should be a minimum of 400 words.
State your personal details and contact information at the top of the essay, including: Full Name, Full Address, Age, Contact Number, Alternative Phone Number, Email Address, and the full name of your School/College, Department/Course.
Winners need to show a scanned copy of identification proof that includes your picture (e.g. driver’s license).
Participants are limited to one essay per application period.
Students interested should submit their essay, along with the requirements listed above, by email no later than 25th Aug 2019.
Scholarship winners will be announced by 25th Sep 2019.
Winners will be notified by email.
Carport Central will NOT share, sell, rent or otherwise transfer any student information.
