HOW TO APPLY
We’re asking women college students to share their personal wellness journeys and experiences as students. To apply, complete and submit the short online application by midnight PST on January 1st, March 31st, June 30th, and September 30th every year. All applicants must submit a 500 word maximum essay on the essay prompt below. Student essays will be judged on their originality, creativity, and dedication to healthy lifestyle choices.

Importance of a Healthy Lifestyle

Why are you committed to living a healthy lifestyle? How do you maintain your physical and mental wellness as a student? Is the cost or availability of organic + natural products a challenge? Has it been difficult or easy to make the healthy decisions? Why?

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To be considered eligible to apply for this scholarship, you must meet the requirements below. The award is intended to help students who are enrolled (or plan to be enrolled) as undergraduate or graduate college students studying in the United States. The scholarship winner will be asked to provide proof of current/future college enrollment. Recent college graduates, high school juniors, and doctoral candidates are not eligible to apply.

Must be a graduating high school senior (in final semester) or current college undergraduate or graduate student studying at a 4-year, 2-year, vocational, or technical institution in the United States.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent legal resident
Must be a woman.
All majors are encouraged to apply.
All GPAs will be considered.

HOW WILL MY APPLICATION INFORMATION BE USED?

Skincare Ox takes student privacy very seriously. We promise to never share, sell, or distribute any student information submitted as a part of our scholarship application process. We will only use your email address and contact information to communicate on matters related to the judging and awarding of this scholarship. We never use your contact information for marketing or advertising purposes. Additionally, we do not retain student information. All applications and information received are permanently deleted at the end of each award cycle.

WHEN IS THE SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINE?

The Beauty and Wellness Scholarship is now offered four times each year! The deadlines to submit your application online are 11:59PM PST on January 1st, March 31st, June 30th, and September 30th every year.

WHAT IS THE SCHOLARSHIP PRIZE?

Their are two separate awards for the Beauty and Wellness Scholarship. Each quarter, we will select one college winner and two high school winners. Currently enrolled college students are eligible to win a $1,000 scholarship award and a care package filled with organic products. Graduating high school seniors are eligible to win $500 (two winners every quarter) and a care package filled with organic products.

WHEN WILL THE WINNER BE CHOSEN AND NOTIFIED?

The winners will be notified via email approximately three weeks after the scholarship deadline.

HOW WILL THE SCHOLARSHIP BE PAID?

College Winners: A $1,000 check will be sent to the winner’s academic institution in their name and the name of their institution (depending on the school’s requirements). The winner will also receive a package of assorted organic wellness goodies including skin care, beauty, and other non-toxic products.

High School Winners: Graduating high school seniors must provided proof of acceptance to a college or university before receiving a scholarship. A $500 check will be sent in their name and the name of their college/university (according to the institutions requirements) and a package of assorted organic wellness goodies will be sent to the winner directly. No scholarship monies will be sent directly to the student. High school applicants should apply during their final semester of high school.

HOW WILL MY APPLICATION BE VERIFIED?

Before the scholarship award is dispersed, the scholarship winner will be asked to provide a copy of their official transcript and proof of current college enrollment and/or acceptance.
