Disability Rights Advocacy Scholarship

Peace Law Firm would like to announce our Disability Rights Advocacy Scholarship. This $1,500 scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students attending or enrolled in the fall 2019 semester. Scholarship money can cover school-related expenses and will be distributed directly to the winner’s school.

Robert M. Hensel is arguably one of the most celebrated advocates of disability rights in the world today. His life’s mission is to ensure fair treatment and rights of individuals with disabilities across the globe.

Placing one foot in front of the other, I’ve climbed to higher lengths. Reaching beyond my own limitations, to show my inner strength. No obstacle too hard, for this warrior to overcome. I’m just a man on a mission, to prove my disability hasn’t won.

Who can apply for the scholarship?
The scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students attending a college or university in the Fall 2019 semester.

The scholarship is a one-time award of $1,500. Applications are due no later than Thursday, August 1, 2019.

Applications will be judged on the ability to write a well-crafted essay exploring the topic in a unique and creative way.

The winner will be selected and notified no later than Thursday, August 15, 2019.
