Lebowitz & Mzhen Personal Injury Lawyers is happy to support student education with our annual Lebowitz & Mzhen Law School Scholarship. Students who are attending an undergraduate, JD, LLB, or LLM program at a college, university, or law school in the United States are encouraged to apply.

Lebowitz & Mzhen Personal Injury Lawyers is a Maryland based law firm that was founded in 1996 by Vadim Mzhen and Jack Lebowitz. The law firm represents individuals who have suffered injuries and damages due to the carelessness and recklessness of others, including corporations. The law firm has successfully handled cases involving automobile, motorcycle, and truck driver negligence, medical and hospital malpractice, product liability, including defective hip implants, pharmacy errors and misfills, nursing home abuse, and premises liability. Many of these cases have been litigated in State and Federal Court.

Lebowitz & Mzhen Personal Injury Lawyers is able to provide competent and caring legal services to those that have been injured on a contingency basis which allows for proper legal representation to all deserving individuals, without regard to their income or service.

Scholarship Award:
One (1) scholarship of $ 1,000 will be awarded annually.

Who:
Any current undergraduate or law student is eligible for the the Lebowitz & Mzhen School Law Scholarship with a preference to individuals that are (a) from Maryland, or (b) received an undergraduate or graduate degree from a college or university in Maryland, or © are attending a law school in Maryland.

How:
Scholarship applicants are required to do the following:

Fill out a biographical information form.
Write an essay on access to legal services in the United States. This essay should focus on the need and affordability of legal services and propose ideas to help meet the demand of these services. The essay should be at least 1,000 words long.
Email your information form and essay to lebowitzmzhenscholarship@comcast.net.
Submission Deadline:
Your materials for the scholarship must be received by December 15, 2019 to be considered for the scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded before January 15, 2020.
