Wakeford Gelini 2019 Driver Safety Scholarship

Wakeford Gelini is proud to introduce the 2019 Driver Safety Scholarship Blog Contest!

In 2017, more than 3,500 people died in car accidents in California. Our firm is located in San Francisco, and we see first hand the devastation that car accidents can cause in our state.

Though we’re based in California, we understand that car accidents are a serious issue throughout the country. Therefore, we don’t limit our scholarship to California but offer it nationwide.

Our firm will offer the winner of our blog contest a $1000 scholarship for their education. We’ll send a check on the winning student’s behalf directly to their financial aid office.

Entering the Contest
Here’s how you can enter:

1. Write a 1,000 word blog post covering “10 Tips for Driver Safety in 2019.” Your work should be original and should include at least one original graphic or image.
2. Submit your blog post via the submission form on this page. Be sure to include all relevant details

Eligibility
Any and all high school seniors in the US who are accepted to or awaiting acceptance to a university, college, or trade school may apply. Students currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studies may also apply. Students must be enrolled by Fall of 2019.

How Do We Judge Entries?
Blogs will be judged based on the following criteria:

Originality
Writing: Grammar, Cohesiveness, Style, and Effectiveness will all be considered
Graphic/Images Included

Deadline
All Entries Must Be Submitted by August 1st, 2019. Winner will be selected by August 15th, 2019.
