Changing Faces Scholarship

Oral health is a subject of great importance at the moment in the UK. With the most recent Children’s Dental Health Survey confirming that almost half of 15 year olds have signs of decay, it’s time to focus on prevention and work towards a healthier future.

We at Changing Faces pride ourselves on actively promoting preventative measures in Harborne and Solihull, and we’re always keen to take part in initiatives and programmes that encourage good habits and educate people about looking after and protecting their smiles. Our ongoing commitment to education is underlined by our Scholarship Contest. We are delighted to announce a competition designed to show all the steps you can take to keep your smile in tip-top condition. The winner of the contest will be given £1,000, which can be put towards higher education costs.

WHO CAN ENTER?
All students are eligible for the competition. There is no age limit.

WHAT ARE THE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS?
To enter, all you have to do is write a creative piece that discusses the dental hygiene steps you can take to protect and enhance your smile and improve your oral health. We’re looking for an entry that underlines and explains the benefits of adopting positive habits. The maximum word limit is 500 words.

HOW WILL THE WINNER BE CHOSEN?
Our Changing Faces team will read and evaluate entries on an individual basis. We’ll be looking for originality and creativity, and we’ll also be making sure that the information and advice provided is 100% accurate.

WHEN IS THE DEADLINE?
The closing date for applications is the 10th August 2019. Entries should be submitted by midnight.
