Solutions Dental Scholarship

With the most recent Children’s Dental Health Survey revealing that almost 50% of 15 year olds in the UK suffer from decay, dental health is a major concern.

We at Solutions Dental are committed to promoting oral disease prevention and informing our patients in Winchester about simple ways to keep dental disease at arm’s length. With this in mind, we’re thrilled to announce a Scholarship Contest, which offers the chance for students to win £1,000 to help with higher education costs. The competition is designed to raise awareness of the importance of good oral health and to outline some easy ways to take care of the teeth and gums.

Who can enter?
The competition is open to all students. There is no age limit.

What are the entry requirements?
Competition entrants are asked to compile and send in a creative writing piece of no more than 500 words centred on steps you can take to keep your smile sparkling and your teeth and gums healthy. The piece must focus on the benefits of adopting positive dental hygiene habits and explain why it’s important to protect your pearly whites.

How will the winner be selected?
We at Solutions Dental will choose a winner based on the creative angle of the piece in addition to the accuracy of the advice and information. We’re looking for an interesting, innovative entry that has clear points and detailed, factual explanations.

How can I enter?
To enter, simply email your completed piece to scholarships@solutionsdentalclinic.co.uk and include the following information:

When is the deadline?
The deadline for all submissions is midnight on the 10th August 2019. Entries must be emailed to scholarships@solutionsdentalclinic.co.uk.

We at Solutions Dental know that we will inundated with brilliant pieces, and we will take our time to evaluate each individual entry. After looking at each piece, we will discuss the contenders and then choose a winner. The result will then be announced.
