Bonsai Finance Veterans Scholarship

The Bonsai Finance Veteran’s Scholarship celebrates veteran and dependent students who strive for excellence in their lives. The scholarship provides a one-time payment of $1,000 for current or future education costs.

ELIGIBILITY FOR BONSAI FINANCE VETERAN’S SCHOLARSHIPS
Applicants must:
Be a veteran or active duty member of the U.S. Military service, or a direct dependent (i.e., son, daughter, spouse)
Be a high school senior, high school graduate, or registered as an undergraduate student at an accredited college or post high school vocational/technical institution.
Be a U.S. citizen.
Not have previously earned a bachelor’s degree from a college or university.

SCHOLARSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS
No purchase or payment necessary for entry. Employees of BonsaiFinance.com, Inc and its divisions, affiliates, subsidiaries, promotional or marketing agencies and their immediate family members (spouse, children, parents and siblings) and persons living in family member homes are not eligible. All decisions by scholarship committee are final. Bonsai Finance is not responsible for technical issues which prevent applications from being submitted or considered.

Essay
In 500 words or fewer, please tell us how you strive for excellence in your life. What are the accomplishments of which you are most proud? What challenges did you overcome to achieve what you have?

Privacy Statement
We will not sell, share, or distribute the information you submit with your scholarship application to any third parties. The information you submit will be used only for determining the scholarship recipient and deleted after the selection period.

Non-Discrimination Statement
The winner of the Bonsai Finance Veteran’s Scholarship will be determined by a selection committee set up by Bonsai Finance. Said selection will in no way be influenced by gender, race, national origin, sexual preference or any criteria other than the meeting of the application requirements and our committee’s evaluation of the essay attached with the application.

Media Release
For any submissions, you hereby grant to us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to use that material in any media and, specifically, to link to the materials and to make that material available via our website and social media networks. You warrant that all such materials are original and do not infringe the rights of any third party and that you have the right to grant such license. You also warrant that the material is not obscene, offensive or defamatory to any person or otherwise illegal. Your name may be published alongside your material. If you do not want to grant these rights, please do not submit material.

APPLICATION
To apply for the Bonsai Finance Veteran’s Scholarship, submit a short essay responding to the questions posed. Scholarship decisions are based solely on an applicant’s essay response.

Winners will be required to provide proof of status as a Veteran or dependent.
