Devereaux, Stokes, Fernandez, and Leonard (DSFL) Scholarship

The Devereaux, Stokes, Fernandez, and Leonard (DSFL) Scholarship Fund is an annual $1,000 award given to an immigrant or first-generation Hispanic pre-law or law student to be used toward tuition, room and board, or other educational expenses.

Gonzalo Fernandez, personal injury attorney and partner at DSFL, founded the scholarship to continue advocating for the Hispanic community. As a young child, he moved to the United States from Mendoza, Argentina to St. Louis – his current hometown – and continues to dedicate his practice to civil plaintiff’s personal injury litigation and serving the legal needs of the growing Hispanic population.

Gonzalo understands the financial barriers that can arise while receiving an education and wants to do his part to support the next generation of attorneys.
