The Opus group Scholarship

Scholarship Details: $2,500 one-time award
Application Deadline (must be received by): February 07, 2020 Scholarship Award Winner Notified: March 27, 2020
All completed applications should be submitted electronically to opusscholarship@opus-group.com. Applicant is responsible for ensuring that all required application documents are submitted by the application deadline. In order to be considered, all application packages will need to be complete and include the following:
1. Completed application 2. Copy of most recent unofficial or official transcript
Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be a current, full time student at current school and enrolling in the Fall 2020 semester
Evaluation Criteria: Academic performance, financial need, involvement in organizations and activities on campus, community involvement, and essay responses.
Application Information Requested
Please attach resume, resume should include the following information OR provide supplemental documentation.
- Applicant Information: full name, address, phone, and email. – Curriculum Information: current year, graduation term year, major, GPA, graduation term year, emphasis,
and minor (if applicable). – Activities: any organizations, student chapters, university clubs, community service activities, or groups in which you have been an active member / participant. Highlight organizations where you have held (or currently hold) a leadership position. – Work Experience: any internship, co-op, or work experience related to the engineering or construction
industry. Distinguish if you are currently working while taking classes. – Honors: received honors or awards – Financial Need: state any special financial need if any, and provide a short response on how you plan on
using the scholarship funds.
Please attach responses to the following essay questions. All applications should include a response to question #1 and #2. Please have each question be 500 words or less.
