Journalism Graduate Merit Scholarship

The MA in Journalism program is pleased to offer merit scholarship funding for the Spring 2020 quarter to graduate students who have shown high levels of academic achievement, engagement with the program and professional development. All Journalism MA students with a GPA of 3.0 and higher are encouraged to apply. Each award will be $3,000.

To apply, please submit:
• A copy of your unofficial transcript
• A personal statement explaining why you are qualified for this award and how this award would make an impact on your continuing studies and/or professional endeavors
• A current resume including your work experience, involvement in the MA program and/or professional associations, and any awards/scholarships you’ve already received from DePaul

Deadline: May 31st, 2020

**This scholarship cannot be combined with the Graduate Tuition Award or Double Demon Scholarship in the same term. This award will be higher than either of those awards, and students only receive the best scholarship in any given term. Full time staff using the tuition waiver are not eligible for this award.
