Opioid Epidemic Recovery Scholarship

Over the past two decades there has been a rapid and concerning increase in opioid overdoses. Opioids are addictive drugs that include heroin, prescription pain relievers, and synthetic drugs. Many medical patients are prescribed pain relievers to temporarily deal with post-surgery pain, but unfortunately, some patients develop addictions that are the result of the temporary use of pain relief medications. Along with these unwanted addictions to pain relievers, there have also been an increasing amount of overdoses resulting from unintentional intake of synthetic drugs such as fentanyl.

Founding partner Larry Eisenberg of The Law Offices of Eisenberg & Associates is an accomplished personal injury lawyer who has represented many families in wrongful-death lawsuits dealing with over-prescribed opioids. Attorney Eisenberg is passionate about protecting the medical well-being of patients who are prescribed addictive medications and feels strongly that the opioid epidemic is a public health crisis that must be addressed to avoid further loss.

To raise awareness about the current opioid crisis, Eisenberg and Associates is proud to offer the Opioid Epidemic Recovery Scholarship. This scholarship is meant to not only raise awareness, but to spark a conversation for change in legislation and regulation of opioids.
