2020 Single Parent Household Scholarship

Our team at Schoonmaker, George, Colin, Blomberg, Bryniczka & Welsh, P.C. is excited to announce our Single Parent Household Scholarship! We often help families that operate as single parent households due to a divorce or other issues. We see first hand how hard single parents work to create opportunities for their children and make sure that their family is well taken care of, and we want to do our part in supporting these families in any way we can.

If you are a current or upcoming college student who has grown up in a single parent household, we want you to apply for our Single Parent Household Scholarship. We understand how growing up in a single parent household can impact a child’s life, and we’d love for you to share your story about how your experience of growing up in your family has shaped you into the person you are today. To apply for this scholarship, we are asking you to share in 750-1,000 words how living in a single-parent household has shaped your career goals and how you plan to pursue those goals during and after your time at college.

Our firm will award one student $1,000 to help with their education costs. While we anticipate receiving many well-drafted and moving responses, we will only select one winner who we feel best articulates how their upbringing has influenced their educational and career goals. Applicants must also meet the following eligibility requirements.
