LaSalle Real Estate Scholarship for Black and Latinx Minorities

The Program: The LaSalle Real Estate Scholarship for Black and Latinx Minorities was created by LaSalle Investment Management with the express objective of providing commercial real estate exposure and experience to qualified Black and Latinx college students. The scholarship program spans multiple colleges and universities, and includes individual student annual scholarships of $10,000. Scholarship recipients will have the opportunity to participate in a rigorous, educational self-study program resulting in a coveted certification.

Requirements: Students receiving the scholarship must complete three requirements:
• Maintain 3.0 GPA
• Attend four quarterly LaSalle Investment Management meetings (online)
• Participate in a monthly LaSalle mentorship program

Internship: Scholars are encouraged to apply for the LaSalle Investment Management summer internship program in Chicago. Interviews will be guaranteed for all scholars who apply but only one internship opportunity may be available; participation in required events and mentorship program will be taken into consideration

Eligibility: To be eligible for the LaSalle Real Estate Scholarship for Black and Latinx Minorities, an individual must be a rising sophomore of Black/African American origin or Hispanic/Latinx origin. The scholarship is open to all majors.

*Awards: *An award may be used toward the payment of tuition, fees, and books, but may not be applied to such incidental expenses as travel and lodging. An individual who has received a LaSalle Real Estate Scholarship for Black and Latinx Minorities scholarship is eligible to apply for additional financial aid. Scholarship funds will be disbursed in three equal installments each quarter.

This scholarship will be awarded for the 2022-2023 academic year from LaSalle Investment Management. The deadline to apply is July 20th,11:59:59 p.m.
