DePaul Academic Scholarship Reinstatement Appeal

If you feel that exceptional circumstances kept you from meeting the renewal requirements of your scholarship and you have a solid plan for corrective action, you may appeal for the reinstatement of your scholarship. Please use this application to explain the circumstances and submit any supporting documentation.

Please understand that submission of an appeal does not guarantee reinstatement. The Office of Financial Aid reserves the right to deny an appeal, reinstate at a reduced amount, or change the source or type of funding of the original award in the appeal process. Once your appeal is submitted, you will receive a decision within 7-10 business days.

Please note: if you are not currently meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), your Scholarship Reinstatement Appeal cannot be processed. If that is your situation, please visit the University’s website for information on how to submit a SAP Appeal.
