Harry F. and Elaine Chaddick Institute Scholarship

Description: These scholarships are awarded to students who have contributed to the Chaddick Institute’s research activities, programs that showcase research and policy issues, and classroom-based assignments that draw upon Institute resources and data sets. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to high-quality analysis and conducting research on urban and metropolitan problems in land use, transportation, municipal governance, or sustainable development. Students working on projects for possible presentations at conferences in the winter and spring are welcome to apply.

Minimum award: $250

Required essay: Submit a 250-word statement of your activities explaining your interest in the Chaddick Institute’s activities and program, your past involvement in Chaddick programs, and classroom-based assignments that draw upon urban planning and community development themes.
