Knights of Dabrowski Scholarship for Polish Students

Students of Polish descent in need of financial aid may apply to the Knights of Dabrowski Crusade for Education program. A limited number of scholarships is available based on documented financial need, academic performance, and community involvement.

BASIC ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
1. The following full-time students enrolled in fully accredited U.S. colleges /
universities may apply:
• Juniors and seniors at the undergraduate level of study;
• Graduate students pursuing Masters, Doctorate, or Professional degrees.

2. Student must be a U. S. citizen of Polish heritage or documented legal alien
of Polish heritage.

3. Student must be in good academic standing and documented financial
need.

4. Student cannot be a member, family member, substantial contributor, or a
family member of a substantial contributor of the Knights of Dabrowski.

5. Student must be Chicago Metropolitan Area resident for at least 4 years
prior to application.

6. Student must be able to attend an interview in late Spring/Summer and an
Awards Presentation Ceremony in the Fall of 2019.

7. Application forms are available through April 30, 2019.

8. Completed applications are due May 15, 2019.

9. When requesting an application, please specify rank /year and school you
will be attending in the Fall of 2019.

10. From time to time, there may be other requirements that must be met in
order to qualify for the various benefits through this program.
