$10,000 Scholarships For Incoming First-Year Law Students
The Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA) is now accepting applications for its Lloyd M. Johnson, Jr. Scholarship Program (LMJ Scholarship) from diverse individuals entering an ABA-accredited law school as full-time first-year law students in the 2017–18 academic school year. Established in 2004, the LMJ Scholarship seeks to nurture the academic and professional careers of outstanding law students and advance the diversity pipeline to the legal profession. To date, MCCA has awarded over $3.1 million in scholarships to nearly 200 diverse men and women. This year, MCCA will award up to 10 scholarships. The deadline to apply has been extended to August 31, 2017. Apply today!

Who Is Eligible To Apply?
To be eligible for the LMJ Scholarship, students must:
• Be accepted into an ABA-accredited U.S. law school for a full-time Juris Doctorate program.
• Have earned an undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
• Be financially disadvantaged and have completed the FAFSA. (If you cannot complete the FAFSA it will not necessarily render you ineligible, please contact us at 855-670-ISTS or contactus@applyists.com. This will only pertain to DACA/DAPA students.)
• Have an interest in corporate law, including an interest in working in a corporate law department and/or law firm.
• Have an interest in diversity and inclusion.
• Demonstrate community service and leadership qualities.
