APTS Scholarship

UMoveFree wants to help students pay for their education by providing a $1,000 scholarship. Use it to pay your tuition, buy school books, help pay your rent, or for anything you need to be your best.

We’re interested in ways the apartment industry can support higher education. An education is a serious investment and many students struggle to balance college and living expenses. Finding the perfect apartment can reduce stress and improve the college experience. Our mini-essay and survey questions are designed to learn more about how apartment communities can better-serve their student renters. We’re looking for reflective students that want to make a positive impact by sharing their unique perspective.

Eligibility & Requirements
This scholarship is open to any legal U.S. resident in high school or college who will be attending an accredited 2-year or 4-year university or college full-time during the upcoming school year.

How to Apply
To apply, complete the application form below including answering our brief survey questions and providing a short piece of writing (no more than 500 words) that answers our application question.

Award recipients will be selected based on the overall strength of their application materials.

Deadline & Selection Timeframe
April 1st – Application Deadline: Your application must be received by April 1st of the current year.
July – Winner Announced: We’ll notify the selected recipient in July, prior to the upcoming school semester.
