Trey Porter Law Scholarship

Trey Porter Law, a Criminal Defense Law Firm in San Antonio, Texas, is pleased to announce the creation of the Trey Porter Law Scholarship. At Trey Porter Law, we focus on criminal law, DWI law and more. This scholarship will be awarded annually, in the amount of $1,000.00.

Mr. Porter changed majors multiple times while pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree at Middle Tennessee State University, eventually settling on Political Science. After graduation, he worked in the restaurant business, sales, and as an English teacher, all before attending law school.

Understanding that plans and passions can change, this scholarship award is open to any student, in any field of study, that is currently enrolled in a college or university.

Candidates should submit a 500-800 word essay detailing how they plan to make their community a better place after graduation.

The $1,000.00 award will be paid directly to the winning recipient and can be used for expenses related to continuing education.
