The TEFL Academy Introduces $2,500 TEFL Scholarship.

The TEFL Academy is all about supporting students who want to uncover the life changing career path that is Teaching English as a Foreign Language abroad. We believe in the importance of education and the incredible impact it has on everyones lives. As such, we’re sponsoring a contest for students who want to pursue a career as a TEFL teacher in order to receive a $2,500 scholarship from The TEFL Academy.

In order to be considered for our scholarship, we want students to send us in a video clip no longer than 60 seconds (videos can be uploaded directly to YouTube with a link sent to us) talking about why they’re looking to pursue a career teaching english abroad. We want to know how you’d set about to change peoples lives in your career as a TEFL teacher, a little bit about you and your background and why teaching english abroad is something that’s right for you.

Clips will be uploaded to our YouTube channel and shared on our social media platforms with the winner announced on the 1st August, 2020. If you do not wish to have your submission made public, please specify when submitting (privatising your submission does not make a difference on receiving the scholarship)

All submissions should be accompanied with the following information before July 1st 2020 (please send this info along with your clip in an email to scholarships@theteflacademy.com) and must meet our eligibility criteria (please see below)

TEFL Academy has a Privacy Policy for all applicant submissions. These submissions will NOT be shared and are for TEFL Academy’s use only. No third party will be granted access to any information that we collect during this process. At the time of the submission deadline, we will evaluate all submissions and individually contact the winning applicant. Award is sent directly to the financial aid office at student’s school of choice, students will reserve the ownership rights to their original content.
