John Horan Endowed Scholarship

The John Horan Endowed Scholarship program is for DePaul students from North Lawndale, specifically North Lawndale College Prep High School, in Chicago, IL, as well as students from similar neighborhoods and schools within the city of Chicago. The John Horan Endowed scholarship aims to cover all tuition costs that remain after the recipient has received any other DePaul University awards and federal/state aid that they are eligible for, and is renewable for four years as long as the recipient remains in good academic standing. The John Horan Endowment Scholarship program was established through the generosity of the Steans family, and is named in honor of John Horan, Founder and President Emeritus at North Lawndale College Prep High School, in recognition and gratitude for his more than 40 years of service to young people.
