Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the scholarship, the applicant must meet the following:

Currently enrolled or accepted to a university or college for the 2024 school year
In good academic standing with your current educational institution
Possess a minimum GPA of 3.0
An American citizen who currently resides in the U.S.

Submit a transcript from the current institution and proof of enrollment to a college or university in PDF format
Write an essay on the following prompt

If you could solve one major problem facing the world today, what would it be and how would you tackle it? How can your academic aspirations help achieve a resolution?

Instructions

Write an original essay in at least 1,100 words or more that is free of AI-generated or plagiarized content
Submit the completed essay in PDF format

Additional Details

Upon selection, the recipient will be required to complete a W-9 form and provide a high-resolution headshot for our scholarship webpage announcement. We will send instructions and consent forms for both at the time of notification.

Please note that this is a one-time, non-renewable award strictly intended for academic expenses such as tuition, fees, housing, and necessary course materials.

Scholarship amount: $2,500

How will applications be reviewed? All applications will be thoroughly evaluated by our selection committee, who will award the scholarship to the candidate who demonstrates outstanding academic achievement and submits the most compelling response to the essay prompt.

To be eligible for the 2024 scholarship, applicants must fulfill all eligibility criteria and submit all required documents in PDF format by the deadline.
