Monarch Butterfly Scholarship
Academic Year 2024-2025

DePaul University Student Government Association (SGA) in collaboration with the Office of Multicultural Student Success (OMSS) presents a scholarship opportunity for returning immigrant, undergraduate students. Graduate-level students can also be considered. Students will be selected based on financial need, academic performance, extracurricular activities, and community service.

To Apply (applicants must meet all criteria below)
• Be an immigrant student who graduated with a high school diploma within the United States and having attended at least 3 years of high school in the United States.
• Be a full-time enrolled, returning undergraduate with sophomore, junior or senior standing (incoming Freshman not eligible) or Graduate-level student.
• Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above
• If an Illinois Resident: Completing the Alternative Applicaiton for Illinois Financial Aid is required.
• If an Non-Illinois Resident or Graduate Student: Submitting a Need Assessment Form
from the DePaul Office of Financial Aid is required.

Scholarship Terms
Awardees may complete one academic program/degree at
DePaul University and are not eligible for a second program/degree. Scholarship
applicable to tuition and fees only. Recipients must maintain quarterly GPA of
2.0 and complete OMSS Scholarship program requirements.
