Scholarship Overview
The Forbidden Pants Scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to students who are committed to their education and have a vision for the future. This is an opportunity for students to showcase their talents and earn recognition along with financial aid to support their academic journey.

Prize Pool
We are offering a total prize pool of $5,000, which will be distributed as follows:

1st Place: $2,500
2nd Place: $1,500
3rd Place: $1,000

Participation Criteria
The scholarship contest is open to all students who meet the following criteria:

Must be currently enrolled or accepted into a full-time undergraduate program at an accredited college or university for the upcoming academic year.
Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
Must demonstrate fluency in English through essay submission.

What Should You Do?
To participate in the Forbidden Pants Scholarship, you need to submit a creative and compelling essay of 1,500-2,000 words on one of the following topics:

How has your personal style influenced your confidence and success?
The impact of sustainable fashion on the environment and society.
The role of fashion in cultural identity and expression.
Guidelines to Follow While Writing the Essay
Use Open Sans or Times New Roman font.
Font size: 12 for the body, 14 for headings (headings should be bold).
Align the text to the left; headings should be centered.
No need for references or citations; originality is key.
Avoid plagiarism at all costs.

How to Submit Your Essay
Submitting your essay is easy. Email your essay in a .docx or .doc format to forbiddenpant@gmail.com. Make sure to include your name, the name of your university or college, and your contact information in the body of the email.

Deadline and Announcement of Winners
Submission Deadline: December 31, 2024
Winner Announcement: February 15, 2025
All applicants will be notified via email regarding the acceptance of their submissions. Winners will receive an official congratulations letter and the scholarship funds will be sent directly to their educational institution.
