Justice in Family Law Scholarship

Who is Eligible to Apply?
To apply for the Justice in Family Law Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

You are enrolled (or will be) in an accredited undergraduate or J.D. program at a U.S. college or university for Spring 2025
You are at least 18 years old
You are a U.S. citizen
You have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5

Application Instructions
Your application should include an essay of 500-1,500 words in response to one of the prompts listed below. Essays must be submitted as a PDF file and include at least one citation.

A. ) What is an injustice that you see in the implementation and enforcement of family law in the U.S.? How can this injustice be rectified? B. ) Discuss the effect divorce has on the behavior and emotions of children. Students may explore how the experience can shape a child’s understanding of emotional well-being, relationships, self-esteem, and overall behavior.
In addition to your essay, we ask that you submit an academic transcript, a professional photograph of yourself, and contact information including your address, phone number, and email address.
