The DePaul Art Scholarship Application
YOU MUST BE AN INCOMING FRESHMAN FOR THE 2025-2026 ACADEMIC YEAR TO APPLY FOR THIS SCHOLARSHIP
To be considered, you must be admitted to DePaul as a first year students and as a declared Art, Media, and Design major by February 1. Please note that the DePaul Art Scholarship is only awarded to liberal arts students who are planning to pursue degrees in Art (BA), Art Media and Design (BA) Art Media and Design (BFA). Your portfolio should contain 10 digital files as follows: nine digital images (one for each of your artworks) and one digital file with your name and resume.
Each digital image should be saved as a JPEG file (100 dpi and no larger than 7 × 5 inches) and include your name, the title of the work, medium, size (h x w x d) and year completed. For your resume, please include your name and contact information, schools attended, art exhibitions you’ve participated in, awards you’ve received and any other art-related activities. If you submit a video file, you may provide the direct URL (internet link) via the guidelines stated above. The instructions to provide the video links will be included within the application. Submissions uploaded as a PowerPoint will not be accepted.
*Please note: the Art Scholarship cannot be combined with another Donor-funded Freshman Scholarship
