Ryan Family Scholarship Application
YOU MUST BE AN INCOMING FRESHMAN FOR THE 2025-2026 ACADEMIC YEAR TO APPLY FOR THIS SCHOLARSHIP
The deadline for application submission online must be no later than February 2nd, 2024 11:59:59 PM Central Standard Time.
The James T. and Michelle A. Ryan Family Scholarship was established to provide recognition and financial assistance to high-potential incoming DePaul University students with financial need. First preference shall be given to students who attended the Chicago Jesuit Academy middle school.
This scholarship will provide support on top of federal, state, and institutional aid to cover recipients’ tuition, room and board, and program support, less $1,000 annually. Recipients must reside on campus, maintain good academic standing, and demonstrate appropriate progress toward degree completion in order to maintain eligibility for award renewal.
In addition, by completing the application for this scholarship you are authorizing the Office of Multicultural Student Success to review your financial and academic records in order to assess your application and to track your academic progress throughout your career at DePaul. Ryan Scholars must be available for Friday scholar workshops from 3PM-5PM.
Please note that should you be a finalist for this scholarship, you may be invited on campus to be interviewed after the scholarship application deadline.
