Newland & Newland Single Parent Scholarship

Our Arlington Heights personal injury law firm is passionate about supporting the local community and our fellow legal professionals.

We aspire to help single parents and their children overcome the challenges preventing them from pursuing higher education by providing the Newland & Newland Single Parent Scholarship. Our team is offering an award worth $1,000 to single parents and children of single parents who are pursuing a career in law.

Which Students Are Eligible to Apply?
Our Fall 2025 award is offered to members of single-parent households who are pursuing an education in law. The applicant must be a single parent or a child of a single parent. Other eligibility criteria include:

1-Must be enrolled in an accredited college, university, or law school for the Fall 2025 semester

2-Must be pursuing a paralegal, legal assistant, or pre-law program.

3-Must have a minimum GPA of 2.0

4-Must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States
