Which Students Are Eligible for the Scholarship?

Undergraduate and graduate students may apply for the Fight Against Domestic Violence Scholarship if they meet the following eligibility requirements:
The student must be at least 18 years old.
The student must be a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident of the United States.
The student must be enrolled in or accepted to an undergraduate or graduate program at a U.S. college or university.
The student must have been impacted by domestic violence that was committed against them or a family member, or they must have a substantial interest in providing solutions to prevent domestic violence in the United States.

What Are the Application Requirements?

Students can apply for the Fight Against Domestic Violence Scholarship by submitting the form at the bottom of this page. A student’s application must include their contact information and proof of enrollment must be attached. Proof of enrollment may include an acceptance letter, academic transcript, class schedule, or other official documents from a college or university.

Students must also submit an essay of up to 1,000 words answering the following questions:
How has domestic violence affected people in the United States today? How serious is this issue? What solutions can be put in place to address these concerns and reduce the number of people who are affected by domestic abuse?
