Scholarship Contest Details
To enter, write a 500-word thoughtful essay about the “The Pros and Cons of Investing in Real Estate Investment Trusts.”

In 2024, the essay topic was focused on Asset Allocation and Diversification, a very important part of any investment strategy. Asset Allocation generally involves the appropriate mix of cash,
stocks, bonds, and alternative investments, including real estate to arrive at the appropriate level of risk and return for investors.

One type of real estate investment we see in many client portfolios are Real Estate Investment Trusts (“REITs”). We want you to learn about REITs and discover the pros and cons of investing in them.

So research, think, learn, and write personally about the “The Pros and Cons of Investing in Real Estate Investment Trusts.”

We are interested to read what you have to write! The winner will receive $2,500 to put towards their tuition.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be EITHER out-going high school seniors (graduating summer 2025) OR students currently enrolled in a college, trade school, university, or law school as of the start of the fall 2025 semester.
Must submit your essay by Wednesday, December 1, 2025.
