Acker Warren Youth Mentor Scholarship

Who Can Apply?
Eligible students for the Acker Warren Youth Mentor Scholarship meet the following requirements:

You participate in a youth mentorship program of some sort, including Big Brothers Big Sisters or similar organizations
You are a freshman attending college this upcoming semester.
You are currently or will be enrolled in an accredited college or university for Fall 2025.
You are at least 17 years of age.

When you are ready to apply for our scholarship, please include the following information:

arrowEssay of approximately (PDF or .docx) 500-1,000 words
Use the essay to answer ONE of the following questions:

A) Why do you believe youth services and mentorship programs are vital to the community? Please provide examples from your own experience or observations.

B) How does starting fresh benefit you, and what may be some of the drawbacks?
