THE CROWDER LAW FIRM SCHOLARSHIP
Our Plano criminal defense practice, The Crowder Law Firm, protects the rights of individuals throughout North Texas who are facing very serious criminal charges. This takes incredibly hard work, skill, and knowledge. We appreciate the time, effort, and resources it takes to get results, and we hope to share that appreciation with students across the United States through our Crowder Law Firm Scholarship.
The Crowder Law Firm offers two $1,000 scholarships twice a year to students pursuing higher education who strive to achieve excellent academic performance.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
The Crowder Law Firm Scholarship is available to students throughout the United States who meet these qualifications:
Enrolled (or intending to enroll) at an accredited university or college for the Spring 2026 semester
Are 18 years of age or older upon date of application submission
Hold citizenship or permanent residency in the United States
Maintain a grade point average of 3.6 or higher
WHAT DOES THE APPLICATION REQUIRE?
All submitted applications must include proof of enrollment for the specified semester, documentation of the student’s essay, and a professional headshot.
Along with the aforementioned information, we ask students to submit an essay of approximately 1,000 words addressing the following prompt:
HOW DO YOU DEFINE THE AMERICAN DREAM?
Do you believe it is attainable today?
The deadline for Spring 2026 applications is December 22, 2025
HOW ARE RECIPIENTS SELECTED?
Once the scholarship application period has come to a close, our scholarship team will spend substantial time reviewing each application. We will consider the following criteria when reviewing your application:
Do you meet all stated scholarship requirements?Does your essay provide a clear and complete answer to the provided prompt?Is your essay organized, creative, and original?
