The MKFM Resilient Student Scholarship

Who is Eligible to Apply?
Eligible applicants for our Fall 2026 Resilient Student Scholarship must meet the following criteria:

Your parents are either divorced or unmarried.
You are enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at an accredited college or university for the Fall 2026 semester.
You are a citizen or permanent resident of the United States.
You are 17 years of age or older.
What Does The Application Require?
To apply for our scholarship, students must submit these required materials:

Proof you are enrolled in an accredited college or university for the Fall 2026 semester (accepted options may include an acceptance letter, letter of enrollment, class schedule, etc).

The submission of a written essay or video essay
For the creative portion of our application, we ask students to provide either a 500-word essay or a two-minute video essay to answer the following prompt: Please share a personal story or experience that highlights your resilience and determination in the face of family challenges. How has growing up in a divorced or unmarried-parent household shaped your character and aspirations for the future?
