The Lem Garcia Law Scholarship proudly offers a $1,000 award to an aspiring attorney currently enrolled in or planning to enroll in law school for the 2026 academic year. The scholarship is designed to ease the financial burdens of law school, allowing talented individuals to focus on their passion for justice and their dream of making a significant impact in the legal world. To apply for the $1,000 Lem Garcia Law Scholarship, applicants must submit an essay of 800 words or less explaining:

Your motivation for pursuing a legal career, and
Your vision for using your law degree to advocate for justice.
Applicants are encouraged to share any personal experiences involving advocacy—whether for themselves or others—and explain how those experiences influenced their commitment to the legal profession.

Who Is Eligible for the 2026 Lem Garcia Law Scholarship?
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

Accepted into any law school in the United States for the 2025–2026 academic year, or
Currently attending any law school in the United States during the 2025–2026 academic year and continuing their studies into 2026–2027.
