Frank Glowaty Legacy Scholarship for Catholic Education

Honoring: Frank Glowaty — recognized for decades of leadership, Christian values, and commitment to Catholic education.

Purpose: To provide financial assistance to students pursuing a quality education at a Catholic university in Illinois.

Award: Two students will each receive a $2,500 scholarship

The two selected recipients of the Frank Glowaty Legacy Scholarship will each receive a one-time monetary award of $2,500 payable directly to the Catholic university of which the selected recipient is enrolled.
_This scholarship is merit based and will consider factors including the applicant’s academic performance, demonstration of faith, and responsibility in the community.
Scholarship is renewable for one year only. _

*Applicant Qualifications: *
1.) Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student enrolled full-time at a Catholic University in Illinois.
2.) Must demonstrate integrity, responsibility, and academic excellence as it relates to their faith.
3.) Must be in good academic standing with a 3.5 GPA or above (on a 4.0 scale)
4.) Must EMAIL an unofficial transcript to frankglowatylegacy@gmail.com
5.) Must provide at least 2 references (that could submit a letter of recommendation upon request) including their name, phone number, email address, and relation to applicant.
Application deadline: May 31st, 2026
Award: $2,500

The two recipients of this scholarship will be determined by June 21st and will be notified via the email address provided on their application. The email to inform the recipient of the scholarship award will be sent from: frankglowatylegacy@gmail.com.
