Maestro Cares Foundation Scholarship

DePaul University is pleased to announce its partnership with Maestro Cares Foundation to provide Maestro Cares Foundation Scholarships starting Academic Year 2026/2027 to deserving scholars who meet the following criteria:

  • Full-time enrollment
  • Entering sophomore year
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Majors in Business, Health Professions, or STEM
  • Demonstrated financial need
  • Demonstrate commitment to community service or volunteer involvement
  • Submission of personal essays
  • Two academic or professional letters of recommendation
  • Willingness to participate in an interview with the Center for Student Success and Thriving (CSST)
  • Preference for students supporting the advancement of the Latino community

Ongoing/Renewal Eligibility Requirements (all the above, plus):

  • Must follow all DePaul University rules and codes of conduct (serious infractions may result in non-renewal)
  • Maintain a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA (maximum of two warnings; third may result in non-renewal)
  • Remain in declared major/career path unless written approval is granted by the Foundation
  • Complete at least 20 hours of volunteer service annually (on campus or in the community)
