Sallie Mae Completing the Dream Scholarship

The Sallie Mae Fund is awarding 50 Completing the Dream Scholarships to help students cover unexpected expenses and complete their post-secondary education.

Award amount: up to $2,500 per student
Total funds available: $125,000
Application deadline: July 17, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET or until all funds are awarded

Eligibility at a Glance:

• Be enrolled at an accredited two- or four-year college, career training, or other post-secondary education program, full-or-part-time
• Be on track to complete their program during the 2026–27 academic year
• Be in good academic standing and facing a financial need that could prevent them from completing their program

Entrants must provide:

1. Personal information including name, home phone number, mobile phone number, school email address, personal email address, postal address with zip code (school and home)
2. one personal statement from the Entrant which addresses the application question (a maximum 2-minute video statement):
   What core principles or values do you believe are most essential to creating positive change in your community and future career field? How do you plan to embody them in both your educational pursuits and interactions with others?
